I offer personalised antenatal and postnatal care and guidance, working alongside your NHS midwife. This includes longer appointments, continuity of care, support with decision-making, and tailored guidance for pregnancy, birth preparation, and postnatal recovery. I do not provide labour or birth support.

No. I work alongside your NHS midwife, providing additional continuity and support. Your NHS midwife remains your primary care provider for routine scans, check-ups, and hospital care.

A midwife is a fully trained, registered healthcare professional who provides medical, antenatal, and postnatal care. A doula offers emotional, physical, and informational support but is not medically trained or registered. I provide midwifery care that is both evidence-based and personalised.

The number and frequency of appointments are flexible and based on your needs. Typically, families book sessions during key stages of pregnancy and postnatally, but we can tailor a plan that works best for you.

Many families seek additional support for continuity, longer appointments, personalised guidance, and reassurance during pregnancy and early parenthood. If you want extra care alongside your NHS midwife, independent midwifery might be right for you.

Fees depend on the number of antenatal and postnatal sessions you choose. I offer different payment options and instalments to make care more accessible. Pricing is transparent and discussed upfront so there are no surprises.

Yes! I am a fully trained midwife, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and committed to safe, evidence-based practice.

I primarily cover London, but if you’re outside this area, please send me a message—sometimes I can make arrangements depending on your location.

No. I do not provide medical interventions or labour support. Your NHS midwife or hospital team manages all clinical and medical care. My role is supportive, informative, and continuous.

Yes. I can provide additional support and guidance alongside your NHS care. However, your medical management and specialist appointments will always remain under the NHS team’s guidance.

Yes! I offer email or phone support between appointments for questions, reassurance, or advice.

The main difference is continuity and personalised attention. While NHS appointments are often shorter and may be with different midwives, I provide a consistent point of contact who knows your history, can answer questions, and guide you through pregnancy and early parenthood in a relaxed, supportive way.
