Pregnancy and early parenthood can feel overwhelming, and having the right support makes all the difference. As an independent midwife, I provide continuity of care, longer appointments, and personalised guidance, always alongside, not replacing, your NHS midwife. Whether you need reassurance in pregnancy, a clear birth plan, or gentle postnatal support, my care is designed around you and your family’s unique journey, helping you feel informed, confident, and cared for before birth, after birth, and beyond.
Hello, I’m Lucy, an independent midwife based in London. I provide personalised antenatal and postnatal care that complements your NHS midwife, offering continuity, longer appointments, and gentle support through pregnancy and early parenthood.
Expanding care beyond pregnancy. Soon I’ll be offering women’s health services to provide continuity and support at every stage of life, not just during motherhood. Watch this space for updates.
Choosing independent midwifery means choosing care that is truly centred around you. I offer both antenatal and postnatal support, with flexible packages and one-off visits designed to meet your family’s needs. Longer appointments give you the time and space to talk openly, ask questions, and feel fully supported at every stage.
My approach is built on continuity of care, seeing the same midwife throughout your journey so you don’t have to repeat your story or feel rushed. This continuity allows us to build trust and tailor your care together, whether that’s preparing for birth, supporting feeding, or guiding you through recovery. I work alongside the NHS to give you extra time, reassurance, and a more personal level of support.
From early pregnancy check-ins to postnatal home visits, I’ll be there to walk beside you – before birth, after birth, and beyond.
Care for women shouldn’t end after the postnatal weeks. I’ll soon be expanding my services to include women’s health support at every stage of life, from postnatal recovery to menopause. This may include pelvic floor specialists, women’s health physiotherapy, gentle pre and postnatal fitness combining wellbeing with bonding.
Watch this space as these services grow building a place where women are truly listened to, supported, and empowered, before birth, after birth, and beyond.
